First announced on the official Twitter account of the “girlshobby” brand of the figure company MegaHouse, a prototype of this upcoming figure of Tomioka Giyuu was showed during the MegaHobby Expo 2019 in Autumn. Tomioka, one of the main characters of Demon Slayer, will be sold as part of the G.E.M series by MegaHouse.

About this Figure| Kotobukiya
The first real figure of Tomioka Gyuu besides some prize figures produced by Banpresto, will be manufactured by Megahouse which showed the unpainted prototype during the last MegaHobby Expo. This is good news for all Demon Slayer fans since the G.E.M series, under which will be commercialized this figure, usually offers a good compromise between quality and price.
The prototype of Tomioka looks quite simple with a nice standing base and a good amount of details both in his clothes and face; overall I expect this to be a bestseller since this is the first scale of Tomioka and the quality is higher than any other prize figure released so far. If you are a fan of this character I’m pretty sure that new figures will be announced soon by other manufacturers considering the wide popularity reached by the Kimetsu no Yaiba series.
