About this Nendoroid
Galo Thymos, the protagonist of the anime movie “PROMARE”, produced by Studio TRIGGER, was designed by Shigeto Koyama along with the other main character Lio Fotia (you can follow Shigeto on Twitter here). This nendoroid of Galo comes with various bonus parts:
- two face plates with a standard “confident” expression and a shouting face
- Matoi and Gaen Gear
The Matoi Gear is the main weapon of Galo in his firefighting form while the Gaen Gear is used in the movie to launch instant-extinguishing ice bullets; the Gaen Gear can also be used in two forms giving the possibility to recreate open and closed parts.
It’s not surprising that the credits for the sculpting of this nendoroid goes to Sasaki Kai, A GSC artist that has already worked on other Nendoroids of popular Trigger’s characters like Matoi Ryuuko from Kill la Kill and Kamina from Gurre-Lagann.
