Ann Takamaki Figure, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight (Phat) 1/7

Phat Company presented the painted version of the prototype during the annual Winter Wonfes 2020.

Announced for the first time at the Winter WonFes 2018, an unpainted prototype of this 1/7 figure of Ann Tamaki-Dancing in Starlight version was later unveiled in the summer event of the same Hobby Convention and later during the various WonFests of 2019.

About this Figure | Phat

After 2 years of waiting and hoping, Phat company has finally presented the painted prototype of Ann Tamaki from the Persona 5 franchise. The original illustration which this figure is based on comes directly from Persona 5 rhythm game “Dancing in Starlight” (or dancing star night) that was released worldwide at the end of 2018.

This figure of Ann Tamaki was sculpted by the hands of Saitou Mitsuru that already worked with Phat Company to produce some figures from Persona 5 and the popular figure of Rem- Wedding version. Most of his figures are well detailed but with a simple pose; this is not the case with Ann that appears exactly as illustrated in the original game.

Sakura is credited as color producer (you can follow him on Twitter here) and they already worked with Mitsuru on a figure of Sakura Futaba by Phat (here) and on what I still consider the best figure available of Mordred (here).

There’s no lack of Ann Tamaki figures but this is the first that shows her Dancing Starlight outfit.
