Sorey Figure Armatus, Mizu Kamui | Tales of Zestiria (Kotobukiya)

The official Twitter account of Kotobukiya es (a sub-brand dedicated to male figures) announced a new figure of Sorey from Tales of Zestiria to commemorate the 5th anniversary from the release of the official game for Playstation 3. The teaser shows Sorey in his Armatus form (Mizu Kamui) as seen on the anime adaptation of the series produced by studio ufotable.

About this Figure| Kotobukiya

Tales of Zestiria is probably one of the most popular titles of the “Tales of” franchise, thanks to the anime adaptation made by a well-known studio like ufotable; while the anime didn’t reach the same popularity of other series animated by this studio like Fate/Stay Night and the recent Demon Slayer, Sorey and Mikleo have become really popular characters.

Most of the figures of Tales of Zestiria were manufactured by Alter that did an amazing job with this figure of Sorey (here) but a figure of the Water Armatus made by the “fusion” between Sorey and Mikleo was still missing. Kotobukiya dedicated to fill that void with this new announcement of a new figure of Sorey called Mizu Kamui version.

A previous figure of both Mikleo and Sorey was produced by Kotobukiya as 1/8 scales; I expect this to be at least 1/7 but we’ll see.
