A new figure of Joker, the main protagonist of Persona 5 with Morgana, another character from the popular RPG, was first announced at the Spring Megahobby Expo 2018 and only one year later at the Spring Mega Hobby Expo 2019 an unpainted version of the 1/8 prototype was presented.

About this Figure| Alter
The first figure (and probably not the last) of Joker from Persona 5 with the presence of Morgana by Alter is presented as part of the ALTAiR figures lineup, a sub brand created by Alter for male figures. This time, contrary to the upcoming figure of Gilgamesh made in collaboration by Alter and amie, we’ll probably see a standard release that shouldn’t make the price too high. Surprisingly Alter dedicated to make a 1/8 scale of Joker and not the usual 1/7, probably to keep the price tag lower considering the presence of a separated figure of Morgana included in the same box.
The artist credited for the sculpting is a popular 3D sculptor that has worked on many figures of Alter: his name is Saitou Fumiki and he is the creator of one of the most popular figures from the Persona franchise of Aegis, from Persona 3 (here). The unpainted prototype of this 1/8 figure of Joker and Morgana looks amazing even if the pose is quite simple, I can already see the care in the details of the face of both characters.
There are already many figures of Joker from other manufacturers and it will be difficult for Alter to compete with Kotobukiya that has already release two amazing figures of these characters with an acceptable price (here and here); I guess we’ll just have to wait and hope.
